Ledford Lewis Wedding February 2024

When my childhood best friend called and told me she was getting married, I was thrilled.. over the moon actually! Then, she asked if I would plan her wedding. This was a first for me, but it was a blast to plan and execute.
When Sydney and I first started talking about her special day, one thing was for certain. She wanted to have her wedding ceremony at her childhood church, Smyrna Baptist, and her reception at her family's farm where she grew up. Everything else was left up to our team as long as we made sure to have those two things happen, and that we did!
We nestled TWO tents between the pecan trees at her family's farm and danced the night away with her closest family members and friends.
From getting ready in her childhood room to doing her first look with her father and brother in the front yard, her special day was full of special memories, both new and old, with Sydney's family.
Her family's church was perfect for the small intimate ceremony. We adorned the front doors with floral wreaths and had two large urns at the front of the church.
The ceremony was intimate as only immediate family was invited. Her small southern Baptist church could only accommodate so many people. It was a special ceremony centered on Christ.
When talking about her reception, Sydney wanted to incorporate bright cheerful colors and blue and white chinoiserie. We selected pieces from her family members, including her grandmother's Blue Willow China. The groom's family are famers as well, so we wanted to incorporate their craft. They are bee famers amongst many other crops. We decided to use bee napkin rings to add that special touch on the estate table.
We decided to go with a mixture of tall and short centerpieces hi-lighting some of the bride's favorite colors. We wanted the guest experience to be unique and fun.
Upon arrival, the guests were greeted with passed champagne and hors d'oeuvres.

As the night progressed, we welcomed Kinchafoonee Cowboys to the stage and danced the night away!
